Obergurgl, Austria, participating in the PENS/Hertie Winter School 2008, which focuses on insect neuroanatomy and neural networks. The meeting was excellent. The 3-hour free time (a.k.a. ski sessions) every afternoon went a long way in providing fun and leisure hours to talk to each other. I joined the "Development of Neural Networks" workgroup, and our presentation consisted of a theater play depicting the topic of the workgroup from neurogenesis to multiple network interactions, including path finding, regeneration and all. Professors played along at our request and we all had a great time (Joachim Pflüger won't forget the red wine mediated neuromodulation for a while!) Art beats slide presentations any day.

In particular, I will show the making of Tobi Delbrück's Monster Truck simulator that we crafted at the Neuromorphic Engineering Workshop in Telluride last July. The original blender file and C/python source code are available at the jAER's subversion repository.
